Due to our custom lesson plans and pacing for each student, we are skilled at meeting the specific needs of all learners, including students with diagnosed learning disabilities, typical learners, and advanced learners.
Scholaris Academy, with its customized curriculum, is ideal for families seeking a holistic approach to education and feel that their child’s academic needs and potential are not being met or challenged in their current school system.
While rarely recommended, additional academic support would only be suggested temporarily to achieve specific goals.
A weekly communication folder provides insights into your child’s activities, including copies of all the graded work and a weekly progress report from each class.
We provide appropriate guidance, discuss potential high schools, offer ISEE test prep, and specifically design the 8th grade curriculum to enhance self-advocacy, strong study-skills, and effective thesis writing.
Our curriculum is a rigorous, classical one that pushes each student to reach their academic potential. Many of our textbooks are used by other private schools in the DFW area.
Understanding the importance of sleep for child development, our classes start at 9am. Also, with Fridays free, students can explore personal interests, relax, or travel as a family, encouraging efficient time use and increased work endurance.
